Quote from CPO Blaine Bradley, NSCC
Being a Sea Cadet cannot be described in one comment, but is described by the way each cadet holds him or herself. Sea Cadets is way of life that only a certain few decide to join. We hold our heads high with honor and respect, hoping to one day do something amazing.
In a word, this program to me is my future.
I think the Sea Cadets is about opportunity - opportunity to learn, to grow, to be successful.
It means responsibility, loyalty, commitment, and work.
It means: Motivation, determination, honor, courage and commitment.
Joining the NSCC has let me experience all types of jobs in the military, and is helping me choose a career path, enlisted or as a commissioned officer.
It means showing that you’re committed to something, willing to show leadership and team work at that same time. Being disciplined and wearing you’re uniform with pride.
I have an older brother and sister away at college and miss them and their support. Being part of Sea Cadets means that I’m never alone.
Being a Sea Cadet means an opportunity to expand my horizons with exciting new adventures.
